
We have developed the Health Promoting Libraries programme at Alexandria, Dumbarton and Clydebank libraries to support people at risk of developing dementia and other long-term conditions. It is never too early or too late to make changes to lifestyle habits, to help you feel better and stay well for longer.
You will find displays giving information on the 14 risk factors for dementia such as hearing and vision loss, diabetes, high blood pressure, weight management, keeping active, smoking, alcohol and depression. The good news is that there are simple steps that could protect your brain and heart health.
