Improving health and reducing health inequalities are key priorities and there is a team of specialist Health Improvement Officers who lead and co-ordinate this work.

WDwellbeing.info is a new website for children, young people, their families and carers, and those who work with them. The website will act as a centralised resource of reliable and up to date information and guidance, and aims to be the “go to” resource for West Dunbartonshire for information on every aspect of children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

The website design was inspired and co-produced through engagement with young people from West Dunbartonshire secondary schools and Youth Council, and a variety of local stakeholders.

Website users will be able to easily find and access information on local and national supports, services, and websites relevant to them regardless of device, through a logical browsing experience.

The website includes:

  • Self-help information and tools
  • Access to quality assured apps
  • Links to quality assured websites and information
  • Local service information and access criteria/pathways
  • Crisis Support information
  • Ability to receive feedback/contact form
