Scotland’s Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Helpline provides support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their helpline supports anyone experiencing domestic abuse or forced marriage, as well as their family members, friends, colleagues and professionals who support them. They provide a confidential, sensitive service to anyone who calls them. You can call the helpline on 0800 027 1234, you can also message them through text/WhatsApp on 07401 288595 and email them on helpline@sdafmh.org.uk.

They offer emotional and practical support to anyone affected by Honour-Based Abuse, either if you are the person at risk or if you are concerned about someone else. To get support you can call 0800 5999247 Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm or you can email them at support@karmanirvana.org.uk

 

They have a helpline which is a support service for Muslim and BME women in Scotland and is a member of Helplines Partnership. All calls are free, strictly confidential and non-judgemental. They will always deal with clients in a faith and culturally sensitive manner. They also act as pathway to other Amina services such as financial advocacy, volunteering and employability, and creative arts. Scottish Women’s Rights Centre provides free, specialist legal advice, representation, and advocacy to promote access to justice for women aged 16+ who are survivors of gender-based violence including domestic abuse, honour-based abuse, rape and sexual violence.
