The Alcohol Framework 2018: Preventing Harm and Rights, Respect and Recovery (both published in November 2018) provide a vision and national strategy for improving health by preventing and reducing alcohol and drug use, harm and related deaths.

ADP outcomes
- Fewer West Dunbartonshire residents will develop problem alcohol and drug use
- West Dunbartonshire communities will access and benefit from integrated person centred support to achieve their recovery
- Children and Families residing within West Dunbartonshire who are affected by alcohol and drug use will be safe, healthy, included, and supported.
- Vulnerable West Dunbartonshire residents are diverted from the justice system wherever possible, and those within justice settings are fully supported.
