This is a Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS service and is available to West Dunbartonshire mums to be. This provides an easy single access point for pregnant women to set up an appointment at an early stage of pregnancy with a midwife.  At this early booking stage midwives can ensure the best long-term care is being provided for mum and baby by assessing the mother’s health needs and provide support around eating well, exercise, dental care, smoking, drinking and housing.

This service is well used across Greater Glasgow and Clyde and has real benefits for pregnant women and the unborn child.

To find out more click on the following link to see a 30 second video link explaining the service. If you want more information click on this slightly extended video link.

The number to call to make an appointment with a midwife is 0141 347 8422
